The new fishing dock on Heron Shire wharf (by the fort/Morning Shire bridge crossing) is now up and running, with a host of custom catches now available!

Welcome to Pirate Wharf & Coastal Fort on Heron Shire, part of the Raglan cluster of sims!

After extensive research by resident tiny fishing experts, this bay spot has been designated the best to fish at - it is the point where the sea of nearby Raglan Galaxy meets the rivers of Morning Shire and Heron Shire, bringing a wealth of new and unusual fish to the waters!

There are, however, many other spots around the cluster of Shire sims that too provide local custom fish! You will find SLURLs to these areas at the end of this note.

If you are tiny, you can use any of the deck chairs here on the wharf. If you are bigger, you can use the crates as seats instead! You can of course also rez a boat if you wish to fish from the bay. The fish server here is located at the 31, 156 co-ordinate so is good for fishing within a 100m radius from there.

If you're a first-time visitor, we recommend you find the time to explore all of our sims; whether you are tiny or tall, we have plenty to see and do, if not at least a collection of some of the most beautiful and interesting sims in Second Life. We are a tiny-centric community - many of our residences, merchants and activities are geared towards tinies but we welcome people of any and every shape and size!

NOTE: Many of these fish are designed to be worn by tiny avatars by Default, but if you're not tiny, you should be able to find good attachment points on a regular size avatar too.

Raglan Shire

Raglan scientists have recently discovered brand new species of fish amongst the waterways of the central Shire sim. With fish breeding at nearby establishments including Tiny Inc and Cheekybug, the rivers, canals and streams around this sim have see a host of new fish take to the waters.

We have our 7Seas server crate at 141,169 at Raglan Shire, allowing for fishing in almost all of our rivers on this sim 100m from this point.

I saw folks fishing at the Wharf last night, they were catching ultra rares which begs the question.. if its ultra rare, how come so many are catching em LOL

Added today - Bounty Hunt board. If you fish the required Bounty fish, you'll not only get the 7Seas medal, but also a Raglan's Most Wanted golden fish skeleton medal!

Also added, a new fish by Bo! An Agitated Squid!

Admins also added: Bo Fiddlesticks, Bloodsong Termagant and Mutley Latte. If you ever need the Bounty Hunt board resetting, or for contests, you can ask these now as well.

Another admin added: Merriwether Magic (yay!), who has now got a houseboat set up as home on the bay right opposite the fishing dock, so is ideally placed for resetting Bounty Hunt boards, etc.

Another AWESOME custom added to Heron Shire too - Martini Discovolante has made the most incredible tiny Yellow Submarine!

I am also putting together a second custom crate for Raglan Shire with many brand new customs...watch this space!

Raglan Shire now has customs too!

The Jelly Elly fish by Etheria Parrott and the Blue Finny Cheekybug fish by Enelya Greyskin, as well as some Raglan fishing hats are all up for hooking on the Raglan Shire sim! These customs are not available on Heron Shire, just as the Heron Shire customs are not available on Raglan Shire - the two area's customs are different, with the exception of the two types of Valentine fish.
